The Molex Light Module System is a family of interchangeable lighting components that creates a standard interface between LED devices and physical light fixtures. For the first time, lighting manufacturers and designers will be able to easily implement complete solid state lighting solutions — using one of many different LED devices.

This patented solution integrates LEDs, drivers, basic optics and a heat spreader into a single unit that mates to a socket or receiver, making both the electrical and thermal connections.

The Light Module System features:

  • • Four core socket versions – 40mm, 50mm, 75mm and 100mm
  • • A variety of voltage options for AC and DC – 12V AC, 120V AC, 220V AC, 277V AC, 12 DC, 24 DC
  • • Three lumen outputs – 400, 800 and 1,200 lumens
  • • Multiple colors – including warm white (3,000K), neutral white (4,100K) and cool white (5,600K)
  • • Three socket options – full, partial or none
  • • Various mounting options – screw mount/wire, GU 24 base, GU 10 base
